Located in the heart of the Ribes Valley, El Cau is in a landscape shaped by its orography, natural diversity and a vibrant culture linked to the mountains.
From this privileged enclave, it is an ideal starting point for discovering paths, villages and traditions, and also for taking the rack railway up to the Vall de Núria, one of the most iconic spots in the Pyrenees.

El Cau is a beautiful, cosy place, full of charm and lovely touches, but the best thing was undoubtedly the hospitality of Marta and Jordi, who made us feel like family with their kindness, warmth and willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you so much for everything; it was a 10 out of 10 experience.
El Cau is even better than it looks in the photos: comfortable, cosy, perfectly equipped and full of thoughtful details. Marta and Jordi are wonderful hosts, knowing how to pamper you while respecting your privacy. If you love the mountains or nature, they are the ideal guides to show you that Ribes is much more than just the gateway to Núria.
The flat, very cosy, was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The access and location, close to the cogwheel railway, were also ideal.
